In light of

This assignment, if you will, to craft a 250 word personal statement to gain acceptance into an editing program, I think I may have come up with an idea for book of short stories. Very short, short stories.

250 Words
(Life, Condensed)

The premise, take any given situation one is in or experience one has had and capture it in no more than 250 words. I'd be interested to see how some of my previous short stories, some 6 to 10 pages in length, would transition into 250 word pieces.

Goals

Today I'm writing something out of nothing for acceptance.

It's a challenge to write. Even more of a challenge to write about oneself in 250 words. I wish I could pay someone to do this. But alas, my voice, my words on the page. Hopefully this will come out fine without making me sound like a total arse.

On a side note

This 'blog' is under construction. I'm still playing around with fonts, colors, shapes, images and layout choices. Suggestions?

Lovely and amazing video

This video really captures the imagination by simplicity. Sometimes, we need to remember that some of the best effects and emotions are created with the simplest of objects that we all have at hand. Not to mention the music is stellar (Firekites-Autumn Story).

Why, you ask?

Because I wanted a place to compile and dispense. Simple as that.
